Economics, Politics, Law, History, and dreaded Finance

We have many problems-

We classify them as social

or medical or financial

Actually they are global!!

कविता कैसी होती है

 कविता कैसी होती है

ये बच्चों जैसी होती है -

बेबाक I

कभी मिल जाए मौका

 खुद से मिलने का, 

खुद को पढ़ने का

 और हम लिख लें 

वो पढ़ा हुआ

जो कभी कोई न पढ़ पाया I

कविता कैसी होती है

ये बच्चों जैसी होती है -

गीली मिटटी जैसी I

जैसे बच्चा जन्म से ही 

मां से जुड़ जाता है

कविता का अंकुर भी 

मस्तिष्क में रह जाता है

फिर उसे विचारों में सोच कर

शब्दों में मींज कर हम लिख देते है I

कविता कैसी होती है

ये बच्चों जैसी होती है -

पहेली जैसी  I

नवागंतुक शिशु की तरह 

रोमांचित और  विस्मित करती है -

क्या ये मेरा ही अंश  है ?

जो अब तक छिपा रहा

और किसी से तो क्या 

खुद से ही न कहा गया  I

कविता कैसी होती है

ये बच्चों जैसी होती है -

प्यारी सी   I

जैसे शिशु सहज ही 

प्यार पा लेता है

कविता भी जन्म लेते ही

एक रिश्ता कायम कर लेती है

कभी विस्मय का 

कभी विषाद  का  I

कविता कैसी होती है

ये बच्चों जैसी होती है -

बिगड़ी हुई  I

कभी-कभी बिगड़ कर 

जिद करके बैठ जाती है

विचारों के घोर मंथन पर ही

यह सामने आती है

जितनी बार सोचो इसको 

यह और निखरती जाती है  I

कविता कैसी होती है

ये बच्चों जैसी होती है -

नित दिन बढ़ने वाली  I

जैसे बच्चे बड़े हो जाते हैं

यह भी यौवन पा लेती है

फिर प्रसिद्धि पा कर

अजर- अमर हो जाती है 

मेहनत इस पर की हुई 

व्यर्थ नहीं जाती है

समय आने पर यह अपना 

रंग दिखाती है I

कविता कैसी होती है

ये बच्चों जैसी होती है I

Negotiations

 

Negotiating with life

Opening point with my position

I thought I could hide my interests behind

Variables and giveaways.

 

To avoid the deadlock,

I gave in my Reservation point

And we split the difference

By agreeing to live in peace with each other

 

I knew either I win from my struggles

Or I lose it all

There was never for me

The best alternative to a negotiated agreement.
